Where are You,Connie Sue?

Contributed by lowman613 on Wednesday, 9th February 2005 @ 11:23:18 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

I havent heard from you in a while,
Your poetry always makes me smile,
Lovingcritters some knew you ,
But I always called you Connie Sue,
I miss our talks on the site,
I miss your e-mails late at night,
My kids miss your kind heart,
youve been there for them from the start,
Their adopted grandma now is gone too,
What am I suppose to do?
I can't explain when I don't even know,
Where in the world did you go?
No letter, No call, not even a poem,
I'm worried girl, where did you roam?
This is not like you to vanish from here,
Not an explanation, not even a tear,
Connie Sue you were my friend,
I'm worried that this is the end,
I know you were sick but what went wrong,
I just would'nt believe you could be gone!

My dear Chrissy,
I feel so badly about worrying everyone. The last thing I remember is opening my PC and it was multiply about 100 plus. My drafts went from 50 to 500 in less than a minute, and I knew enough to know that could crash my hard drive. I remember sending out one more message hoping everyone on my list would know what was happening. I said, "Please do not send me anymore emails....my PC is going crazy and I can't open it up again. or something like that?
Then I worked for nearly two months with several techs on MSN and Bresnan etc. everyone I could think of, even the company that manufactured the PC Finally I took it to Circuit City.........they couldn't fix it.....I could remember one email address and that was Norm's I was sure he would tell everyone, as he knew from the very beginning. Then I finally sent it back to the company so they could save my pictures and poems, documents etc. That was around Christmas time, and it took them forever to get it back to me. Then I spent weeks just trying to reprogram it etc.
Please forgive me for worrying everyone. Reminds me of my little son Brennan. He was only 4 when his daddy died, and I took them all to Hawaii the summer. I lost him in a great big shopping center. I was just frantic, thinking someone had kidnapped him.
When I finally located him, I wanted to spank his little butt, and when I explained him how worried I was because he was lost, he looked at me and said, "But mom I wasn't lost, I knew where I was all the time!" Me too
I knew where I was and I was sure you would know too. Your address was in my PC and I'd never gotten your phone number, and it's not listed in the phone book. etc. etc.
so sorry.
I'm back now though, and I've learned my lesson, I have a great big address book now, and have everyone's phone number, telephone number etc. NEVER AGAIN.
This was a beautiful poem Chrissy.
Thank you so much
Warm love
