In dedication of the maggots...

Contributed by Unheard_Mute on Wednesday, 9th February 2005 @ 11:08:03 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Crawlin through this ball of crap that we like to call earth,
Worth what we crawl in since the date of our birth,
Dorks, nerds, loners, cutters, druggies, lesbos, faggots,
Scum of the world, let this be dedicated to the maggots...

Always picked on, pricks on my back, ready to snap,
Trap me in this school and keep feedin me crap,
Deceive myself, think I'll end up those jerks' boss,
Pay their bills, make 'em wish they were never cross,
But I'll find out, it's not the hard work that earned me the big chair,
It's the path from life to death and the fun I should've had tryin to get there...
I'm a maggot

I look at myself on my own outside the masses,
Unaccepted, expected to hang with my own classes,
They class me as a dork, I hang with my species,
While all the other upper class ***** treat me like feces,
Just want friends but they push me to the dirt,
Don't care how much they're makin me hurt...
I'm a maggot

We're so alone, and yet we're all together,
Tethered to one another, we're birds of a feather,
Hated and discriminated, waited but the want just faded,
As previously stated, to the maggots this poem is dedicated...

Can't take the pain so I choose to cause more,
Broken skin, commited sin pourin all over the floor,
I'm a true believer that this is a pain reliever,
As the cleaver cleaves through my arm like a beaver,
Feel the pain go away, but the scar'll stay,
Have to look back at the reminder of a hurtful day...
I'm a maggot

Pop a few, they're all colorful and small,
Next mornin find me dead leanin up against my wall,
Grab my gun and eat a bullet straight up through my mouth,
Taste the lead, feel the hole in my head, all as I'm fallin south,
Dieing next to the sink, everything looks pink,
Can't think, my wrist hurts, I hear my razor hit the floor with a clink...
I'm a maggot

Nothin but a maggot crawlin through this spinnin ball,
Too thin, too fat, too weird, too strange, too short, too tall,
If you're a maggot, and you know that it's true,
Shut up and listen up cause this is dedicated to you...

Take my pill and feel the thrill as I kill my brain cells,
See us in the dark, dead, nothin but shells,
On a binge, off my hinge, gettin wet and gettin wild,
I'm an adult so don't insult me, I know what I'm doin I'm no child,
Mild side affects, I twitch and I shiver, can't see, I go blind,
But it's better than reality so I leave my life behind...
I'm a maggot

I'm so different, in a wolrd of black and white I'm gray,
The world's against me, since me and my partner are gay,
Everyone says we're evil and casts us away to the flames,
As if they're so pure an mighty like they have room to call names,
We're real people, we're real, we feel just like any other,
So don't harass my a ***, make me run duck and cover...
I'm a maggot

Can't you see, we make up reality,
This is the real world for people like you and me,
We stick together, we break apart,
We're disgusting vermin but we still have heart,
We're the trash, we're the filth, we're the dirt and the muck,
Stuck in this world but we're straight out of luck,
**** it, maggots always die the same way,
Eating the rotting filth as they're rotting away,
It's so nasty and trashy like the grime on a dime,
And yet it holds more beauty than the secrets of time...

So take in my words, let them compliment, let the scar,
Those who know who I'm talkin about now know who they are,
Don't feel shame to hold the name of the world's title of scum,
Cause you're what holds the world together while being held in it's prison,
Hold your head up high till the day that you die, cause you're the one that holds the magic,
You are the reason for this poem, the real beauty of this word...
You are a maggot

really good, yet sad poem. I used to be a
cutter and suicidal so I can relate to this.
There is an end to the pain and one day that
pain will end for you. Just stay strong and
believe in yourself.

Very powerful message. You kept my interest the whole time. Maybe because I am a "maggot" lol. Great job. Very entertaining.

"Being an outsider is not so bad, it gives one a unique sense of purpose".

Odo-Deep Space 9.

I was probably never really a "maggot", I just thought I was.
