Cold, Empty Winter.

Aimlessly falling softly to the earth,
Blanketing the peaked rooftops,
Clinging to the trees' bare branches,
Is the cold cold snow of winter.
'Tis carried by sharp harsh fingers,
With a deathly chill,
That permeates the thickest of flesh,
And known as the cold winter wind.
Across the sky is empty gray gloom,
Tending to cross into the soul,
Devouring the sun's sweet rays,
Blocking the stars' heavenly glow.
