hard to see things in black and white,
the basis for comparison is broken.
apathetically descending,
never confused.
talking with a liars accent.
perversion and freak of nature,
editing my mind pill by pill.
sunlight showers like scolding water,
the moon just makes me mad.
and the people, my god.
they look at my eyes under my hood,
i dont mind because they dont matter
never cynical
always right.
falling into shredded disrepair,
transcendance still isnt bottled.
pounding music and jack daniels,
kill me cure me whip me ***** me.
take away my memory,
i dont need it anymore,
sweet asphyxiated sunday.

That's a good poem. Haven't tried that one probably never will. I've seen folks have some bad times with it of course probably what they've got a hold of wasn't pure. I have done some research on it though and find it interesting that it was first used as an antidepressant. Again, very good write. I like your style. Much peace to you. |

well, if you've ever done ecstacy then it is no surprise that it was once used as an anti-depressant. Ecstacy releases insane amounts of seratonin (sp?) in your brain, which is the chemical in your brain that makes you happy. The downfall to this, is that it takes your body a little while to build up your seratonin to its normal level afterwards. That is why the day after you roll usually sucks. But some would say its worth it. So far, since ecstacy is so new, we don't know the long term side effects, bu if someone is already prone to depression, then I would think that it would effect them more. As for myself, I haven't noticed any side effects, and I have used ecstacy quite a bit......probably a little too much, but hey, I don't regret it at all because I have come to some of the greatest realizations about life and love using ecstacy and other illegal substances.
Anyway, I liked the poem. It's a good example of what I call "cracked out sundays" |
