Death Of A Classmate

Contributed by willow_tara72002 on Wednesday, 9th February 2005 @ 08:05:24 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Hearing so much mourning all around,
Some fall to the ground
Others hug and give support.
I only knew a familure name
She died in the hospital after that game
Now without her this place isnt the same

All was quiet when i arrived at school
Not everyone knew
A most popular girl, only 17
Is now gone, and never again will be seen

Now everyones found out
Most cried and shout
Hearing the cries of pain
I hear what some people are saying
They say they dont care
And wish they were'nt there
So dissrespectful at the death of a classmate

Half the students leave
They cannot take the pain
The rest sit crying in the halls
hardley any go to class

All the school in a depression
Those not upset by this death have no soul

THis doesnt feel real
Like some kinda of dream
You can awake with a scream
I dont know why i cried
For someone i didnt know
The pain and depression in the school took control

Ilegal prayer used to start class
Talking about the girl, the good times, the laughs
How she is now free from this pain
I will remember her
That she died today
A most populare girl, Ashley Yetzer
