I found her…
Let me tell you what I saw…
I saw a child too wise to be a child,
I found…
I found a child too strong to be a kid
I found a child too hurt to live
I found a child too smart with common sense
I found a child full of fear to let herself win
I found a child with love so strong she broke
I found a child with tears that made her choke
I found a child with eyes as innocent as snow
I found a child with a heart made of gold
I found a child with time she only shared
I found a child if only someone cared

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
