Torn between two realms
Not knowing what to do
As I sit at the helm
While in love with two
I never asked for any of this
My soul left so fragile and weak
While clenching my bloodied fists
A future so volatile and bleak
I hide behind the false existence of my life
The shallow and shameless loss of innocence
Blood running through the sands of time
Torn between two realms
Not knowing what to do
As I sit at the helm
While in love with two
You think you know who I am
Nothing can describe the anguish that I feel
Don't judge what you don't understand
Just leave me be and let my wounds heal
Like an eagle - Picking apart its prey
The terror so horrific and fictitious
The pain so sadistic and vicious
Nothing left - Just the price you paid
Torn between two realms
Not knowing what to do
As I sit at the helm
While in love with two
Hatred manifesting itself to the point of unrest
A mortal man sir coming to uncontrollable desire
Burning his own embedded flesh
While crying out to the great Messiah
Haunted by images of grief stricken guilt
Wondering how to be remembered
Destroying the freedom of will
Slowly being dismembered

DANG ! and wow . Enjoyed the reading and the sitting on the edge of my seat to find out what you will say next. Been there when it comes to choosing which road to take. We all have choices and can't decide. I then say God close the door you do not want me to go through. or open the door you want. REALLY WORKS. except he may close the door you really truly want to go through.. but his way is best. |
