Just for a minute I would like for you to listen
I can never change what happened
But I would like to have a chance to explain
And how I never wanted you to start crying
That's all that I am asking you for
A chance to say I'm sorry and maybe more

Is that too much to ask for?
You not to slam the door
I wanted to let you know how I really felt
There's nothing left to be dealt
You don't care anymore but I do still
I can't put in to words just how I feel

All I can say is I hope you know
How sorry I am and how much I loved you
I just wish I had never hurt you so
I hope you believe that I never wanted to
You meant the world to me and you still do
I just hope you hear these last words from me to you
