When I first saw you, I saw your beautiful blue eyes
But didn’t look any deeper, because I figured you had ties
We exchanged a few words, but with no such flirting
By the end of the night I was crying, so didn’t even think about courting
After that night you, weren’t even a thought in my mind
Up until two weeks later, when I saw you for the second time
I reconsidered the idea of flirting
Especially once you caught me smirking
I wasn’t aware, of the effect you had on me
But you knew it all too well, cuz you wouldn’t let me be
So you finally introduced yourself and shook my hand
Now that I think about it a date with you is something I want to land
