No Existence Reflected

Contributed by essentially9 on Tuesday, 8th February 2005 @ 10:07:09 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

No Existence Reflected

Bloodless veins bleed
The impure intoxication
Of delusional perspective
Pieced together incomplete

The reflection shows nothing
Because existence is a lie
The glass of water shatters
To become completely empty

But life runs full circle
With death as the radius
The immortal hemisphere
Is squared to perfection

But a crack is still there

I was watching Two and a half men .. the kid was trying to learn blackjack so he could go to Vegas with his dad and Uncle.. and the need to just sit even if he had to use the bathroom came up.. the math..the counting..the holding it.. He said.."I have to count and Pee my pants???" LOL... I'm trying to get your poem and it reminds me a lot of trying to get math.. the words you use are beautiful.. they just aren't coming together in my head..but there's a lot of empty space in here and things just rattle around a lot...

Well written, extremely emotional poem. Good choice and use of words.
