Products of our own design?

Products of our own design?

They say that we are all products of our own design
What were they thinking to have this thought transpire?
Why is it thought that if you live one way?
They say that’s how you want to stay
I don’t think it's that easy at all
And in them saying that they did set up their fall

They only see what they think is there
But for what is true they don’t really care
I don’t want to live like this
To have so much of life that I miss
Suicide seems to be my only hope
But if I do then how will my family and friends cope
To take my life would stop all my pain
But that would mean never seeing them again.

This is not the design I chose for me
But for some reason this is how I be
So with this pain I guess i'll live
And of myself I will give
And to those who think they can tell
I say to you go to hell.

“How am I supposed to cope?”
He thinks
“I guess I’ll write about it.”

Well done.

I liked this one mucho. I can't place my finger on what I liked about it, so you'll have to take my word for it.
Take care.
David

P.S. And Andrew, it's mostly a moo-cow.
