Her kiss doesn't taste quite as sweet,
as the way you hoped it would always be.
Her once shining halo, now looks like,
just a crown of tangled thorns.
Her touch has lost it's meaning,
and you just want to run away.
No, you can't tell her anything,
because you can't even find the words.
You don't want to break her down,
shoot her sun right out of her sky.
You can't even tell her you love her,
without telling yourself you know it's over.
You feel so lonely in her arms.
When her heart beats, yours just breaks,
and you want to die,
rather than tell her your lonely in her arms.

I liked this.
"When her heart beats, yours just breaks,
and you want to die,
rather than tell her your lonely in her arms."
Good job! I enjoyed it. |

Interesting, the way you start out with the physical and then start going into really what the lonely feeling is all about. This was powerfully emotional. How does one justify taking someone else's world apart? Or rather, what they imagine as their world, as in this case the narrator isn't feeling it the way the other person is. Powerful write and makes you think. Blessings. |
