All day I am told of your cruel disposition
Your lies they will guarantee
But all night I dream of a knight in bright armor
And yours is the face that I see
Should I believe in these words that I hear
I ask as I catch your eye
Your deeds testify to the truth in your voice
But all of this they will deny
I close my eyes tight and I look deep inside
My heart seems to tell me to go
So I take your hand as you turn round to leave
All nervousness from head to toe
Your smile melts my fears and together we leave
But as soon as we are gone
You do it again as you smash all my hopes
And I realize that I was wrong
When will I learn, after how many times
Of being let down by you
That my heart is treacherous, always it lies
A hard lesson long overdue

Great read, although slightly cofusing.
Or maybe I'm just out of it today.
Keep writing.
