Looking Down Through The Clouds

Contributed by Steven_Fenton1982 on Tuesday, 8th February 2005 @ 05:38:16 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Each day seems to follow on just like a dream,
never knowing if I will ever truly wake from it.
But baby you made me see that I could fly sometimes,
everything was better when you were by my side.

I dare to say that love isn't for the faint of heart,
you give your promise and pray it's goning to be okay.
Do we ever think about the past when it's gone?
Moving on is hard when you still love someone, like I love you!

You gave me love,
you gave me trust.
How the Hell did we fall apart?
You showed me Heaven,
you showed me happiness.
When was the night that we said goodbye?

Now looking down through the clouds, I see you with another man.
I wish I was there to be the one walking you down the isle, oh baby.
Honey my heart may have died, but my soul lives on with you,
and always know that I'll be watching down on you through the clouds.
But when he put that ring on your finger,
it closed my chapter of your life.
I love you darling, but I never got to say goodbye.
I just hope you will be happy, I hope he loves you like I really should have.

Don't you hate regrets...if its not because you did something you shouldnt have its because you didn't do something...You will always love her...I know I'm only 16 and probably don't know what love is, but if what you write is what you really feel then you had found love and I'm really sorry you can't be with her...great write...I felt it in my heart...i look forward to reading another masterpiece
