Forever And A Day

Girl, you can not see,
because like your soul,
your eyes are closed to the blind truth.

Child, you can not fly,
because like your heart.
your wings are made of solid stone.

Oh, I want to.....
warm the ice that holds your heart.
Oh, I need to.....
breathe the air that fuels your hate.
So I can feel closer to you.

I don't want to feel you drift off my ocean,
and I don't want to see you fall from my star.
I want to be with you till our arms hold the hands of time,
and we can stop them to live forever and a day as one.

I likey. Good Write. I like the imagery. Very sweet too.
