I wish I could forget you
And move on through my life
Just like you have
I wish you weren't real
That you were just a dream
But through your perfection
It is but a wish that won't come true
You twist and turn my heart
And play with it like a toy
But when you get so bored
I'm tossed aside
You torment me
Yet when I looked in your eyes
Those many years ago
I was trapped in eternal love
OH how I despise it
Wrapping my fate around it's ugly little fingers
Stop being perfect
And stop being nice
Because with your kindness,
Comes great pain for me
I hate loving you
Just go away
Hurt me bad
I don't care!
Just stop making me love you!

Love is not being trapped in " someones hands." It sounds like you long for someone to love you for you......not necessarily that you love him but that you are lonely and afraid of being without someone in mind. I hope things get brighter for you and you find someone who truly cares and respects you.

I like this poem.Maybe cause I'm in the same situation.Not for the reasons Alina mentioned.But for reasons no one, not even I, can explain.Good poem.
