She Wears Black

Contributed by pixie on Tuesday, 8th February 2005 @ 01:17:33 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The lady always wears black,
So she is disguised as goes on her attack,
She begins her war against your sanity,
Cursing & spitting out all her profanity.

She is deaf to all your cries,
Her laughter can be heard way into the skies,
Loud & shrill as she poisons your mind,
Picking you up then leaving you alone & behind.

Black is the colour she loves to wear,
You’re never alone she is always there,
Making sure she carries out her evil deed,
Making you suffer & making you bleed.

She swirls around like an evil wind,
To your soul like ivy she clings,
Filling your head with hurt & fear,
Spitting in your face as you cry a single tear.

Beware of the lady in the dark clothes,
Because in her world anything goes,
Pain is the only thing that’s in fashion,
When she appears anything can happen.

This evoked some scary memories for me.. When I was small, my big brother used to tell me that there was a lady in black who would kidnap little girls who didn't listen to their big brothers...
Lol.....how stupid we are as kids....lol
Lovely write..
Hugs

the lady in black is in our thoughts as the one who we all want to do our evil dees but when she does we feel responsibale, but we have no bearing on what she does.

this is a good one I liked the flow of it it was smooth and steady, we all have known some one like this even if we dont want to admit it, all they need it to know that what they do is whast makes them unhappy and tell them that they are loved, they will change over time in most cases this is just a fad. read you later. God bless
