In my Bay

Something lingers inside of me
that I can not control.
Its the Ups and Downs
the Ins and Outs
that roll wild, like the waves of the Ocean.
To harness those tidal waves
in a jar,
to open upon my calling
and close at the times my chest hurts
making it hard to breathe.
But what is that Ocean, really?
Flowing Dreams that wax and wane,
not to the moon
but,
to the energy that surrounds me.
Harness those waves before they get away,
while the angry Sea rests in my Bay.

its kinda general, but i like it that way

Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
