the crowd fades away as the game begins
adrenaline pumps through my body
thinking of all the teamwork & dedication
it took to get here
this is what its all about
cooperation, trust, goals, and teamwork
you win some
tears, frusteration, blood & failed attempts
you lose some
being at State is an honor
whether we succeed or fail,
in the end we're still a team

I played volleyball for a couple years, couldn't bring myself to wear the kneepads though, the jokes got old. We sucked, and our team still kept on keepin' on. Good drop. |
