MISSING YOU
I miss you in the morning, when I open up my eyes
I miss you in The morning, it’s then I realize.
You are far away my darling and the words I cannot say.
How very much I miss you at the dawn of a new day.
I miss you in the afternoon, when the sun is in the sky.
I miss you in the afternoon so much I want to cry.
The empty chair at the table breaks my heart in two.
I live only for the day, when I can dine with you.
I miss you most my darling, when the moon is in the sky.
I miss the closeness of your body and in my bed I sigh.
The moonlight pervades my room, but all that I can see
Is the empty space on your pillow lying next to me.
