Just a Dream

Will life bring about another chance,
a chance to be with you?
Will I get a shot at one more dance,
with the only love my heart ever knew?
Only time will tell if this is true,
if so it would be an answered prayer.
There's nothing I want more then you,
something so perfect is pretty rare.
My entire world could collapse around me,
it wouldn't matter at all.
As long as I had you here with me,
I'd still be standing tall.
This dream of mine is exactly that,
just a wish in the back of my mind.
All these feelings and emotions are so hard to combat,
sometimes I wish I could just leave them all behind.
