Abandoned

Contributed by Chanti on Tuesday, 10th December 2002 @ 10:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I walk alone through the empty streets,
of a world that I once did belong,
but thinking that I could always fit in,
was something that I thought wrong.

I once believed that there was hope,
but that hope has abandoned my heart,
for I lost all that I ever cherished,
as my world starting crumbling apart.

I remember a time when I could laugh,
when I could even smile,
but a tear sits on my cheek,
from depression that ive felt for awhile.

So leave me be,
as the rest of this cold world has done,
im lost, alone, betrayed, and hurt,
I do not want anyone.

Hi Chanti, I hope someone in your world listens to you. I'm sorry you have such sad feelings. I'll listen to you, dear one. Dot

paradoxial thoughts here you have: you "do not want anyone" yet you want people to enjoy yur poetry... being abandoned comes again and again at the worst of times. but know that yur not alone, there are others feeling just the same. pray you find those people you will know be dear to your heart someday. kudos! ;0)
