selfstruggles
|
From behind my wall I can hear you
But your pormises get lost through the cracks
Through my wall I can touch you
but my touch is stiff and warmth it lacks
From behind my wall I tremble
Because you hold the key to the lock
the fear of losing balance sets in
as I hesitate at your warning knock
If I let you in will you be gentle?
Will you stand solid by me?
Or will you tear away the ground
and everything surrounding
only to let me fall again?
