un faithful soul

They found her in her room
In her very own land
The bloody knife, resting tight in her hand
Dripping life’s energy onto her lips
Hand on the handle in a death grip
Body twisted and contorted
Flesh from the neck and wrists distorted
Lying amidst a dark red puddle
Next to the bunny she used to cuddle
Cold and fragile
She took the easy way out
Taking one last breathe, she new she would never amount
People didn’t know of her pain deep inside
Looking happy, faking her pride
Waking every morning with left over tears
Taking drugs to disappear
Waiting for death, wanting no longer to survive
Picking up a knife that’s by her bed side
Thoughts of guilt cross her mind
Praying to god, to save her soul
How can loosing life be so easy to let go
Wondering at her funeral if people would visit
Maybe not because she was sick and twisted
Would there be roses for the rested
Colored with blood of the one not gifted
Closing her eyes as she slices away at her flesh
Drowning in her blood
She committed her own death
When her parents asked the mortician
How there daughter died
He replied simply suicide
