i waited and you didnt come
i stood there watching for your car
my bags were packed and
your face wasnt there
i coudnt stand it i was only 7
you couldve come but mother lied
she said you were alive but you died
she thought it was best if i didnt know
but it hurt and i didnt let it show
i waited and you didnt come
for years would pass
as my tears fell fast
6 years to be exact
when she finally told me fiction from fact
i cried every night because
i waited and you didnt come
(by the way this hassnt happened to me but its my fear)
