I love you.

Topic: LovePoetry

I love you.

As she walked down the road
I could see here beauty untold
I need to have her with all of my heart
But a conversation with her I don’t know how to start
As she passed she missed a stride
And the only thing that was broken was her pride

All heads turned to gasp and glare
But from all around I was the only one there
She was so embarrassed she started to blush
I helped her up she started to cry I said hush
She was in a hurray and wanted to leave
But away from me she wouldn’t cleave
So I asked if she wanted some coffee or food
And to my surprise she said she would

Not soon after we were wed
And as I took her to my bed
I could some how tell there would be no others
And she gave us children, sisters and brothers
I thank the Lord with my all
That I was there to watch her fall.

“I love you.”
They kiss
“I love you too.”

Coffee seems to be a major theme in this... poem.
Well done Josh. I truly loved the

"I thank the Lord with my all
That I was there to watch her fall"

I believe one of those big, long "awwwww"s is in order here? I liked, but the marriage-part happened too fast, I think. I mean, was the wedding at the coffee shop?

... not that that would be a bad idea, mind you. I'm just saying...
