Laid to Rest

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Sunday, 6th February 2005 @ 08:26:08 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Expected to take a test without questions
Paying the price for regrets of tomarrow
But nothing but weakend expectations
And the after birth of sarrow

Deep and
Dark seated
Soul

Left and
Lost forever
No one
Knows

Dreams lost forever, in a glance
Greaving the pain of lost love
Driven through you're heart, a bloody glass
And the blood raining from above

You've had enough...

Cold and
Currupted
Open ended
Lives

Empty and
Endlessly
Bleeding
Lies

Choosing to throw the game
Out of rage, you did'nt want to play
You wanted to fail
Because you're life was'nt the same
You're life
Was living
Hell

Laid to Rest
so you could'nt hear
everybody
Yell

Laid to Rest
Cold
Empty
And pail

A family...
One face less

As the casket
Lowered deep
into the ground
Nothing of you
But memories left

As you were
Laid
To
Rest

They finally
Confess
Their love

Something you
Never felt
Enough of...
