WALK SOFTLY
Walk softly down the corridors
The pathways of my mind
So gently nudge the memories
Blow off the dust of time
Within your heart, set free your love
To understand and see
The memories here, emotions too
Are all a part of me
Step lightly on my feelings
Observe them each with care
And as you leave, remember
To you, my soul, I bare......

Isn't it hard to bare your soul..this kind of reminds me of He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven..
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.
-- William Butler Yeats
I don't know why exactly... |
