This artist's room,
is full of love,
a garden's bloom,
a painted dove.
The oil paint,
a wooden chair,
a reddish taint,
art here and there.
An easel stands,
both proud and tall,
the artist's hands,
did this all.
The shadows fall,
in a cluttered space,
the artist's hall,
is his time and place.
A place called home,
a comfort zone,
to be alone,
to make his own.
