Steady like a beating drum
Hand to my chest
I feel so alone
Thoughts of you always stay around
And you still linger in my dreams
I can't seem to escape you

Is this the way things were meant to be
Is this our destiny
Help me understand the way
You've fallen out of love with me
Will fate take me by the hand
And lead me back to love again
