My heart is frozen to anyone but you,
but I'm hoping with time this ice will melt.
You did something to me no one else could do,
made me feel something I've never felt.
That feeling you gave me ignited something within,
an uncontrollable blaze of desire.
You could feel the heat just by touching my skin,
nothing could put out that fire.
My heart was devoted to you and you only,
there was no one that could compare.
Without you here my heart feels so lonely,
I'll never forget you, I swear.
The love I have for you is still deep inside,
but it's slowly falling apart.
It still comes and goes like the ocean tide,
and it still holds claim to my heart.
I hope that someday I'll love once more,
and I pray they're as perfect as you.
Until then what's this heart for?
Besides break what else does it do?
