You are with me everyday,
I can feel you when I wake up,
Throughout the day you are by my side,
Helping me choose right.
All the tears that I have cried,
All the pain I have been through,
You were always there for me,
And without you I don't know what I would do.
Sometimes it feels like you are so far away,
But in my heart I know,
That you are always beside me,
And I am never alone.
You are my light in the darkness,
You are my heart and soul,
You are my hope when things go wrong,
And for that I just wanted to say thank you.

| Most people find prayer easy, especially when they want something, and many people find it easy to "blame" god for not answering when things go wrong. I wonder how many people actually take the time to thank god...very nice, well written and thought. |
