My Every Tear

Contributed by cherrycoke on Saturday, 5th February 2005 @ 09:16:19 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

vs.1) I stand before the Cross, the Throne
I see my Saviour, I'm His own
His pierc'ed lifeless body hung
Then broken, humble I'd become

-Chorus-
This tear that's rolling down my cheek
Reminds me how I am so weak
Let Jesus come and wipe away
My every tear from every day

vs.2) He died for me at Calvary
Ransomed my soul and set me free
He's come to me and freed my fear
He shed His blood, yet I, a tear

vs.3) So let me live my life today
To show the people Christ's the way
No longer shamed in guilt and sin
I as my Saviour live again

very nicely written. It is a simple, great reminder of Christ's redemption and that we should live every day for Him.

Wonderful! What a wonderful reminder of the healing and restorative power of God. Oh, I so needed this today. Thank you for sharing what you write for yourself. Whether you mean to or not, you have impressed me.

lisa lisa lisa! I'm so glad you're my bestest bud. you show me the way a Christian should really live... I should try more often to "live my life today to show the people Christ's the way"... I realize no one is perfect, but I could be doing a lot better.
