lost

There is a man,
who walks day and night,
up and down this street.
What he's searching for is unknown,
but its something.
This man is so dark,
yet, looking so afraid.
I believe he is lost,
looking for a way home.
No one cares about him,
they just point and laugh,
and children stare.
Tears roll down his face,
showing he does carry emotion.
Never does he sit,
and never does he stop,
pacing back and forth.
This mans story is untold.
His life and secrets,
lay deep within.
Lost in his mind,
and no way out, maybe.
No one knows what he is looking for,
but you see, by the glare in his eyes,
he is here, lost.

Your authors note asks for comments...but your writing skills demand them.
I could see this man wandering..lost and alone.
Very well done
Larry
