Repentiveness

Contributed by Joel on Saturday, 5th February 2005 @ 02:04:22 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

A fish out of water, a person out of his bubble, a killer facing himself and realizing what he has done is wrong, but he cant take back what his done, its to late, his hurt the person that he didnt know, and has judged to quickly, there was a lock in his mind that nobody could open, he has pryied it open with a crow bar and finally heard the sirens singing their melodious songs ,he has seen the light, the light of a cigarette being lit in a cold night to keep warm,
has sang the songs eaten crackers kneeled and prayed
afraid of what will happen when he decays
repented with harsh punishments
so he cuts his wrists and sprays the wounds with lime
and realizes he doesnt have much time
their was a splinter in his mind
as strange as seing an animal wearing clothes
and finally comes to terms that he was an animal wearing clothes
and thats the way the wistle blows
when the ravaging dogs have smelled his scent
which has made a dent in his good persona trying to escape
a guilty cauntious can be remedied with a loss of reason
a loss of reason cannoy be remedied with devastating events
a suffering of excess anxiety
a product of pollution of human society
search for a prophet that is righwilled with piety
living the remainder of his life with the outmost sobriety
but where are all the prophets
search party for the lost prophets
cause none of them have a made a profit out of dying for faith
a mesiah that has reached emphamy and stardom has accomplished his goal
but the victims will not resurect like the trees that die in bleak december resurected by marches not so eternal mercy, and neither will he....

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
