Trust comes hard
After so many
pretend admirers
who leave
for the less shy
who throw themselves
at their feet
and you say
you different
Why should i believe
if you
start out
just like
all the others?
tellin' me
how much
you like me.
Bein' there
sometimes
but not when
i need somebody
around.
i am proud broken
like good china
all glued back
no piece missin'
but the cracks
keep me
from bein' useful.
In my way
i do like you
but who knows
when you will turn your head
for some witch
in a bikini?

What incredible imagery here!
I know that feeling of not being good enough.
Of course, it's not true. You are surely MORE than good enough, but those who aren't seldom know how to appreciate something so fine.
