Gone Without a Trace

I know you thought I disappeared,
We were great friends but I left,
Gone with no words or no thoughts,
I wonder why I left without a trace.

In my dream world I still picture you,
In my mind I see you growing up,
Our friendship getting stronger,
Even though I left without a trace,

They say, mountain don’t meet,
They also say, people meet somehow,
Do you believe our friendship will go on?
I believe time is like a flooding season,
We prepare for the worst and forget the good.

Now I only wonder if u remember,
Do you still treasure our friendship?
I was gone without a trace,
For you to trace my foot prints,
For you to keep our friendship,

I think back on the friendships I had in school... and I wonder where some of those ppl have gone... what they're doing now? I wonder to if they think about me? Maybe.
