And thoughts take off
Dense and black
as a gathering of buzzards
startled and stacked
Kings of the feast
Set back to descend
To fall upon prey
and escort it to end
Dark ushers gather
And clatter their will
No portions appease them
Ruin merely a frill
Tear and divide
Be they beasts of the hunt
Set to destroy and decypher
In the heat of the front
No Time, no mercy
They work like a clock
Tangle and dismantle
With an invisible lock

Yes SM, in a way. Most of it is a derived metaphor from the first line. I guess it depends on if you include that line or not in the whole/question. Thanks for the interest and reviews! |
