This is not good
Not according to plan
As if they see everything
From where I stand
They're getting clever
And counting stiffs
Tailing me off and on
In rotating shifts
They have snipers on rooftops
And bugs in my room
They have leads they are following
That are ready to bloom
They are men in trenchcoats
On corners they stand
They carry newspapers and briefcases
But I see guns in their hand
A look through the blinds
And an ear to the wall
I know they're there somewhere
Plotting my fall
They enlist the help of ladies
To try and draw my eyes
They've flipped everyone I ever knew
I know they're all spies
But you won't get me, coppers
Not dead or alive
I'll be on to the next score
By the time you arrive.
