candycane flush with the walkway

surely as the sun rises and falls,
this family of poets, within this earthly world,
needs your voice, longs to read you,
would it do any good if we
beg, whine and plead?
even need?

you

occupation: mum n' author, dearest friend

muffling pain and thought together in the merciful dark...'

sometimes we forget who we are
life gets wanky, just where do we belong?
it's a heartfelt genuine feeling, when you're reeling,
that's the time to remember who loves you for you
believes in the gifted shining star you are,
~*~
when alone and walking down the street
i know you still feel that poetic pull and beat,
it is your soul, its crying to be free, my friend
and still, always i have this shoulder to lend,
please stop in your tracks, turn around and think,
~*~
what element to refresh your ink?
what sort of musefood, and treats and such?
we miss you, you know, love you so very much!
we want to share what you believe, know and feel
let go of past sorrows it is a new day,
~*~
a journal awaits for simple sanity
quietly, ever, a soliloquy of reason,
then there's always that tv, music and art,
you know the daisychain runs true
hey hey, jan, its time to start anew,
~*~
so dear lady, way downunder, in that beautiful
world of roos, in the land of the midnight sun
morningtime again; kukas sing, time to right life's season
so this lill poem is to maybe help find your way
we belong here for the very same reason...
~*~
i cannot beg, plead or whine to
make you share your poetry again,
you must believe in the fact your writing
is devine, without you ypdc's not the same,
just a candycane flush with the walkway.

A very encouraging write. An appropriate poem since I just renewed my membership for another year.

If I make as a musician I will have to change how I post though, but I promise to strive to keep in touch for those who need encouragement and inspiration.
