After the gruesome death of their daughter,
The Rothschild’s were in deep grief
They really didn’t suspect dear old me
I mean, how could they?
I’m their most trustworthy friend!
Oh yes, it took them years to recover,
But years…I waited till after the second year
Patiently, I linger around till the opportune moment came
Today, at the first sign of the setting sun,
Death will come to Mr. & Mrs. Rothschild
It came to be very familiar as I found myself knocking on their door
The heavy knocker pounded on the door
Ronalda dolefully answered, sniffing and eyes all red
I though, oh please just get over it,
Eventually I did, after I killed her
Please, do come in Mr. Bloodworth,
I nodded respectfully, and walked inside
A fire I saw was roaring in the marble fireplace
The flames of the fire only incited me further
Shortly I said to myself quietly, when the silver moon rises in the window
Finally, I then saw the moon through the stained glass,
The candle were all blown out the betraying wind of the open window
Ronalda & William scurried about the family room
Of course if sat comfortably in my seat, as they both were sweating a storm
Honestly, I didn’t know why they were so nervous
No, I wanted to slay them in the light,
I took to the flame and set a flame to all the others
The wax dragons lit the darkest corners
No need to fear my dearest friends,
Harm will not come to you, as long as I’m with you
I have no need for truth here,
It won’t matter in a few moments
Because they really desire perish, and be lost forever
So, I’ll do them a favor and kill them instead of them killing their selves
They soon will join their beloved daughter in heaven,
If there is such a foolish thing
My mind pondered on how I should do this,
I scratched my perfect chin thoughtfully
But then, they told me to suddenly leave,
How dare they interfere with my planning!
My eyes suddenly fumed & flared,
And they caught sight of them
Moments later William came charging at me with a pure silver dagger,
So I yawned & easily dodged his blow
He had finally, for some reason or another, found out that it was me who killed Amaranta
Curse my fascination for great gems,
I was inadvertently wearing his daughter’s jewel as a flashy pin
Ronalda was running around like a scared mouse
I caught her & had her husbands dagger to her shivering throat
My auburn hair was strewn across my face,
Hazing my sharp vision of William,
I muttered something terrible under my breath, and shook my head
Before the slow blink of his eyes,
He found his knees had buckled under him,
And Ronalda’s blood was soaking his clothing
I had slashed her throat open, showing the inside,
Blood was streaming freely from the slit
I watched in amusement as William huddles over his wife
His screams were as loud as a furious thunderstorm,
As they echoes throughout the house,
I knew I had to silence those pestering screams
Hmmm…. What to do?
I decided to let him suffer over his wife,
That very next day,
I heard from the townspeople that old Mr. Rothschild
Had killed himself, just as the sun was rising
And so end my thrilling adventure with the Rothschild’s.
