Why can't you just realize
That there's hardly anything
Keeping me alive?
I'm hanging on by this one
Small thread
It's my lifeline.
My one and only lifeline
And look at it now -
Can you see it?
It's starting to
Fade away
My life one and only lifeline
And it's fading away.

I don’t know how you arranged the posts, but of the three... this one rocks! I like the visual image of a lifeline just fading out of existence, and the desperation of watching it fade. Awesome!
