Steel Rod Syringes

Topic: drugabuse

There's not enough in this metal burnt spoon
To feed the souls of this Junkie room
They linger and wait with their veins popped out
Waiting to taste and trying to shout.

But their voices don't come
No one can hear their cries
Of Steel Rod Syringes
And black dieing eyes.

This Liquid Love in which she does console
Is only enough to feed one vein
To live in numbness and have no control
Wating for the pain which never again came.

But their voices don't scream
No one can hear their cries
Of Steel Rod Syringes
And black, dieing, bloody eyes.

The essence and innocence has been lost
Of corpses lingering, feeding at deadly cost
She won't share her needle, to feed her own pain
Bloodstream attack to the heart ; revealing she's just a Junkie again.

But they have NO voices
Only their silent cries
Of Steel Rod Syringes
And black, desperate, dieing eyes.

What a living hell, I have been there, and have escaped that cold, dark hell. Hopefully never to return. It seemed so hopeless, and never ending. Somehow I was saved and given another chance. You let me remember exactly the pain addiction carries. Where there is breath there is hope. Any addict seeking recovery need ever die. A message of hope and a promise of freedom. Thank you
Theresa
