Enigmatic Beauty

Where is my undiscovered angel?
As invisible to the world like a
Phantom desiring my presence alone;
Ignorant of the necessity of ostentatious appeal,
Only my stubborn lips, angled toward her,
With hands ready to part her hair for a kiss;
Quiescent to threnody if need be.
She will revel in my ardor,
Share in my cynicism and
Understand my brief narcissistic moments.
She will be a landscape painted by God
Rather than Raphael or Leonardo,
That only begs for my attention and
Breathes me in, combusting into jubilee.
