Lifepoems

Now once upon a time I was but one,
From free in life I knew no death or fate.
And now I feel the urge to stand and run.
Across the field and through a cobbled gate.
O're mountain peaks and at the sea I stand,
Enraptured in the sunset I will be.
And there I find what no one could have planned,
For in the light I find myself as free.
As waves will crash my life will heave and fall,
Upon the beach my some becomes my all.
