Everything We Had

Contributed by pixie on Thursday, 3rd February 2005 @ 11:31:15 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Babes everything that we had,
Once was good but has since turned bad,
I love you with all my heart,
Yet I feel like we are oceans apart.

I look over at you lay so still,
Has our love lost its power & will?
Please tell me that we will last,
That our love won’t fade into the past.

Love once coursed through our veins,
It was our true love that had hold of the reins,
Compassion once ran at a surprising pace,
It beat everything else in the true love race.

But now has all this changed?
Has all our love finally re-arranged?
Has it turned back to a moment in time?
Has it all gone back to when you were not mine?

Why won’t love stay in my arms?
It is because I unintentionally cause harm?
Or maybe it’s because I don’t deserve love,
Why won’t my raven turn into a dove?

I tried, oh my did I try,
I hoped & prayed things wouldn’t die,
But my poor heart has took a beating,
Heartache has won in its defeating.

Love either grows, turns into a lifetime of dedication, or dies. The real thing (I know I've said this before) will empty your bedpan when you're 83. That's not very romantic, but it's true.

everyone deserves love esspecaly if they have had it. love is a tendor complicated think that can and does change unexpectidly which is what makes it so hard for some to kwwp but if you know that you love that poirson then it wil all work out things like tis happen for a reason its testing your comitment to eachother and will come again in time but if its ment to be that it will all work out.

I am sorry for your pain you are going through and just know that youy will be in my prayers, your significant other more then likly only wishes the best for you and will do almost any thing to make this easy on you, just talk about what you are feeling and see whaty comes of it. best of luck and God bless.
