Does he love me or no?
Am I what he wants?
I wish he’d let it show
For my imagination, does haunt
Sleep does evade me
Dream filled when found
Upon waking I cannot see
With tears, my eyes abound
With each smile and touch
The hope builds anew
My doubt is much
To his search for another, it’s due
I would give almost anything
Could I ever give enough?
To stop him from wavering
My heart handled so rough
