A Single Moment

Standing on a hilltop today
I saw the ends of the World.
I closed my eyes,
took in a deep, clean breath of air
and looked even further.
There once was a perfect moment in Time,
from the beginning.
Some people were there
Existing within each other,
Knowing
Feeling
each other's thoughts.
Where blue
was the purest blue
and green hills stretched
out to the ultimate imagination.
There existed a single moment,
just before the fear crept in,
a single moment of remembering
the sounds,
the smells
and the visions of this perfect place.
I smiled upon those blue skies
and green hills
knowing this is the very spot I stood upon
from the beginning
from the perfect moment in Time.
