I'm trying not to think of you as much anymore,
all it does is tear me apart.
I still love you just as much as before,
I still hold you deep inside my heart.
Before I go to sleep I blow you a kiss goodnight,
I don't know if it gets to you, but it might.
Still I have yet to go a day without thinking of you,
and I doubt that will ever end
You're the best thing I ever knew,
the one I loved and my best friend.
For as long as you live I'll be there if you need me,
it doesn't matter what it is, I'll be there.
I'll be your eyes when you can no longer see,
and shield you from this world's despair.
I know I'll love till the day that I die,
it may not be on the surface but deep down inside.
I see your picture and a tear drops from my eye,
can't believe I lost you with how hard I tried.
I hope your life is all that you've ever dreamed of,
you only deserve the best.
You're more beautiful then a turtle dove,
that's why losing you is so hard to digest.

Well it's very sad and even tho it makes me weep it's beautifull. she's gotta be the luckiest gal on this planet to have such luv and dedication.

I can certainly relate to this, you have just captured me with your strong words.
It's so hard to let go sometimes but somehow we have to. Anyways i really liked this 5 stars....
