If I died today, would you cry for me?
If I just faded away, would I ever cross your mind?
If you never saw my face again, would you forget the look in my eyes?
If you never heard my voice again, would you forget the joy its melody brought you?
If you never felt my touch again, would you forget the love and care it held?
And if you never heard my name again, would you miss my presence?
Or would you push my memory away; moving to the next in line?
All of that I can certainly bear, though painful as it is.
But the day you forget my love will indeed be the day I die.
For I'll live while you love me, and perish when you don't.

needs less questions. people writing poems about so many questions make me think they are wasting their life away asking them. your ending was very good though. |
